My name is Mouna Khene, and the creation of Mouna MédiSpa is the culmination of a journey where science met humanity in the most personal way possible.
The beginning of the journey
Born in Algeria to an entrepreneur father and an OB-GYN mother, I grew up at the crossroads of two worlds: the passion to build and the rigor of medical science. Yet it was on my own skin that the real challenge began.
As a teenager, I struggled with severe, persistent acne. I went through the medical runaround, prescriptions without explanations, and generic treatments that weakened my skin as much as my morale. I felt invisible, misunderstood, and trapped by a mirror that no longer reflected me.
The turning point
Science as the solution,
empathy as the engine.
With studies in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology in Canada, I decided to use my scientific background to understand what no one explained to me. I broke down the ingredients and cellular mechanisms to find the solutions that ultimately transformed my skin and restored my confidence.
